 Deferred Action for 

 Childhood Arrivals (DACA) 

DACA is a program through which individuals who arrived to the U.S. before their 16th birthday and meet other eligibility requirements may apply for work authorization, and receive protection from deportation for two years.

 Temporary Protected Status 

 (TPS) 

 

Temporary Protected Status is granted to individuals that are a national of a country designated for TPS or individuals without nationality who last habitually resided in the designated country and who meet other eligibility requirements.
