Pathway to Citizenship
Long Island
This program provides citizenship legal services, credentialing of foreign-earned degrees and free financial counseling for lawful permanent residents.

Refugee Child Unit
This unit conducts legal outreach and intake for unaccompanied children that have resettled in Nassau and Suffolk counties, assessing avenues of legal relief and representation for children that are currently in deportation proceedings.

Family Petitions
As a permanent resident or U.S. citizen, you are able to petition for eligible relatives to become lawful permanent residents in the United States.

Adjustment of Status
This is a process by which an eligible applicant can apply to become a permanent resident of the United States.

Deferred Action for
Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
DACA is a program through which individuals who arrived to the U.S. before their 16th birthday and meet other eligibility requirements may apply for work authorization, in addition to not being placed in deportation proceedings or removed from the U.S. for a period of two years.

Temporary Protected Status
(TPS)
Temporary Protected Status is granted to individuals that are a national of a country designated for TPS or individuals without nationality who last habitually resided in the designated country and who meet other eligibility requirements.
