Development and Communications Coordinator
Emma is currently pursuing a Master's in International Migration and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a graduate of New York University, earning a B.A. in Global Liberal Studies, with a Concentration in Law, Ethics, and History. She is deeply passionate about social justice and human rights issues, specifically related to immigrants’ rights, women’s equality, and environmental justice. Her undergraduate research focused on international policy solutions to the human rights issues at the intersection of climate change and international migration, which she plans to further investigate in her graduate studies. Prior to coming to CARECEN, she worked in the nonprofit sector in various capacities, such as in volunteer, direct service, and research-related roles. She previously served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with CARECEN, focused on capacity building, before transitioning to her current role.
