Spanish Interpreter
Volunteer Opportunities
CARECEN seeks Spanish Interpreters to facilitate communication between legal staff and clients. Interpreters must have availability during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Preferably, interpreters are available for 3-4 hour periods either in the morning or afternoon.
Our clients come from low-income backgrounds and receive various immigration legal services in our office. Primarily, interpreters will assist in naturalization and child refugee cases.
This is a great opportunity for college students, law and paralegal students, or anyone interested in dedicating their time and language skills to serve their community. Interpreters receive a rewarding opportunity to practice their language skills while learning about immigration legal services and helping families work towards a better life.
