Bring Hope To Immigrant Communities

When Daniel’s father died of COVID-19 earlier this year, he was left orphaned at the age of 17. Because Daniel fled Honduras and has no other family on Long Island to care for him, Daniel didn’t know where to turn for help. In addition to providing him the legal representation he needs to remain safely in the United States, CARECEN connected Daniel to social, educational and mental health services that helped stabilize his life after the loss of his father.  

COVID-19, combined with harsh federal immigration policies, have left thousands of immigrants on Long Island, like Daniel, more vulnerable than ever. We need you to bring them hope.

No Gala, No Problem

Each year, we publish a journal that corresponds with our annual Gala, to celebrate CARECEN’s work in defense of Long Island’s immigrants. Due to COVID-19 we will not be hosting our gala, but our 2020 Journal will highlight local businesses by offering space for advertisements and discounts.
